How do you find out who sent you an invite to a site, without opening the email?

I keep getting an invite in my email from some one I do not know, at least I do not recognize the screen name. I do not want to open the mail since I dont know who it might be. I have recieved about 4 invites in 2 weeks. None of my friends have mentioned it to me. I hate to continue to ignore it, however, I do have many friends that have relocated in the last year. How can I find out who it is from without opening a possibly harmful email? Would it work to try to IM the person without opening the email?

Do a right click on the subject line and the drop down menu will come up, click on properties...it will show the source

Reply:I use www.orange.co.uk for my emails, it means I have a wanadoo address. I can access it from any computer, and I've never had any problems with it.
Reply:U can with yahoo, Bt and msn I think you can with all email sites its a matter of going to the site and logging in the same as you do on your own computer

Internet dating sites are the easiest way to get ignored. It's their fault they're missing out. Besides, the magic's always better when you meet them in person.

Reply:They probably get a lot of mail. The right one will message back, don't worry. Try using a site that has an IM messenger built into the site, IMing is much easier then messaging anyways.

There is a 'folder' for it and if you star it then it means its like special so when you go to the folder you'll find it there and your inbox.

I'm looking for an old friend of mine I have lost touch with .I have never had an email address for them but I have an old mailing address and phone number but I am trying to get in touch with them and I need to find this person email address in order to send them a message through my email account so I can contact them in other ways.Thank you.
