Whats the best way 2 keep spam sites from knowing your ip & email address?

1. Don't post your email in online message forums, online classifieds or websites.

2. If you have a website, doj't list your email. Tell the webmaster to put an online form on the website as a means of contacting you.

3. Never reply to junk mail or click on the unsubsribe link to junk mail.

4. Don't respond to online ads offering you a free Wal Mart Card, IPOD, etc in return for completing an online survey.

5. Many spammers guess at common emails at known domain names, such as info@www.hello.com. Make your email harder to guess.

Reply:stop filling out everything on line...also don't hit the "plz don't send me any more emails link" sometimes they are trying to see if you are actively checking your email!!!
Reply:I use Zone Alarm Firewall and run in stealth mode .also configure it not to send out pings
Reply:Use a proxy (or many). Try searching for free prosy list on yahoo.

You can also try some proxy software (more reliable) like steganos internet anonim or anonymizer.
