Is there a site where you can report spam email?

I keep getting those emails where they say you have won a lotto in Europe or someone needs help with a banking issue and things like that. I just wanted to know if there is a site where you can report it and maybe these people can get caught.

Is there a site where you can report spam email?
Here's the place where you can report fraudulent emails: http://consumerfraudreporting.org/feedba...

Hope this helps.
Reply:If you use Mozilla thunderbird email client, a right click on the hyperlink will allow you to report it as a scam (if not, look for an add-on).

Ditto the latter point for Mozilla Firefox browser and the Mcafee SiteAdvisor.

If you want to get law enforcement to take any action, then look up the campaigners such as knujon castlecops etc. They can collate complaints from all of us and use that as leverage in the right places.

Interestingly, I have been getting a lot of spam recently inciting me to vote in the US election. As a British subject, this email is not only unsolicited, it is trying to get me to do something illegal. So frankly, I don't trust politicians either.
Reply:If they are company ones like from a bank then you can usually report it to the bank. Other than that I dont think there is a lot you can do except delete them.
Reply:You can report it here http://www.castlecops.com/sirt
