If this is a web site that you have hosted on your own, then
there is a possibility..

If this is a web site you have created on some free service... then it would be possible for you to creater an email account with your domain name (web address) only if the ones who provided you the account have given you such a facility.
If it is your own site, then you would be provided with a control panel from where you can create an email account...
You will always get help from your hosting company for setting up email accounts..

Are these paid surveys sites for real or are they come on just to get you email address?
The rule, as always, is to stay away from those that ask you to pay before you can get these surveys.
Legitimate market survey companies such as Pinecone Research recruit members based on demographic characteristics -- e.g. mothers of babies 0-12 years old -- and will send surveys of products and services targeting this demographic group. Pinecone Research, however, pays only $5 per survey -- you're definitely not going to be rich with that. They can give you anywhere from 1-5 at most surveys in a month.
Other companies simply ask you to answer as many research as possible, and you don't earn anything just the chance to win at a raffle (which I find lame).

Why can't I use the email provided on many sites that has the loginet.password.com? I have sbc global & yahoo.
I'll be on a website wanting to send the info to myself or someone and when I click on "Email" a pop-up screen shows the heading "loginet.password.com" asking for your user id and password. How do I set this up??? I have sbc global and use yahoo for my mail. Have tried all I can think of and nothing works. Thanks so much for any help.

Why does Yahoo promote marital infidelity on it's main site & email page?
If I am logged in, and my profile is accessed by Yahoo, it knows that I am married. Why, then does Yahoo put ads for singles, Yahoo Personals, and other ads on either www.yahoo.com or the yahoo mail page? I have no interest in cheating on my wife. I have no desire to flirt with any woman online or otherwise. So why does Yahoo insist on promoting such a thing on it's site?

It is the same account as your msn or yahoo account you may have used initial to sign on with google . It is where they must have sent you a confirmation email.
For example when i bought a domain i had an account with msn so my new acct with google was richardbhg@ gmail.com or at msn.com.
Just type in your username without the @xxx and your usual same password.

Could be because your email address isn't the standard .com type, and the people that wrote the code that checks the email address didn't account for anything more complex.
Poorly written sites can't handle these kind of address:
my.name@foo.com - the period in the first part
name@foo.co.uk - non .com in the domain
my_name@mail.foo.com - could be the underscore, could be the sub-domain of mail.

Reply:from what I can tell, the problem you are experiancing is what are called popups, adware (software that advertises things ) or malware (software that has malicious intent such as scamming or data corruption). It is software or simpley a browser window that trys to get details or conscent from you. they can vary from simply bookmarking a site to harvesting bank details, and passwords. Just because they come up doesnt mean that you have ever visited that site it is simply somthing that you have come accros either via the internet or have somohow downloaded.
To help combat the situation I would advise several things.
Enable you firewall on your computer and/or modem. Find either a free or subscription security software. I would strognly recomend going for a well known one such as norton, McAffee or similar. Never accept popups ofering a fre virus scan or things that say 'weve detected 3 viruses on your system, click to install a programe to remove them!' this is most likley malicious. also a popup blocke would probably be usefull.

You can do all of this off line from the internet, infact i would adivse you to be DISCONNECTED when you do the following!
You need to disable an activeX control in your web browser for starters!
Ensure you are logged on as an adminstrator (in XP).
I did this on someone else computer because they started to get this and had no idea how it had started at all and the timer had got up to 9 minutes, this when the person needed to be study work for the course they were on!
I can not rember the exact names of files so please bear with me!
Goto the Tools menu and select Manage Add-ons..., this will open up an window, in here you will see a control that starts with mbs, mbs......., select it and then at the bottom click on the disable radio button.
This does not delete the item!
OK the window!
Now we need to go and see where the other items reside:
open up My Computer from the desktop!
if you can not see the windows folder in the following part, you will have to go into the Tools menu and then Folder Options, in the window that opens you need to go to the view tab. Here you need to go down and clik the radio button for "show hidden files and folders" you will find this under Hidden files and folders.
you will also need to unselect the tick box for "Hide extensions for know file types". This will allow you see the extension .exe and .dll etc for what we will be looking for in a minute!
We need to goto into the c drive, then into the windows folder, from here we go into the system32 folder(XP).
That being: C:\WINDOWS\system32
In system32 we are looking for these two files:
mbsmon32.exe
mbsreg.exe
Click the toolbar to display the information as details instead of thumbs etc! This is important!
Note the date that these files were installed on the pc and click on the header bar to sort all of the files into date order when they were last modified.
Now look down the date column and find that date, you will see about 6 files i think, you will see the icons used by the two files above plus some others, one or two may be dll files!
NOTE ****
It is important to find the files on that date BUT ensure that the files you select all have the same TIME STAMP as mbsmon32.exe and mbsreg.exe, this will ensure you only pick the files that were installed with these two files!

note these files down and log off the computer!
Boot XP up and start pressing F8!
This will bring up a menu to boot XP in safe mode and into the all seeing administrator!
Choose to use ****** safe mode! *******
This will start and maintain a low resolution screen, this is ok.
At the log on choose the Administrator even if your user id (logon) has Admin rights!
A warning window will display on the screen, ok this and allow it fully load!
Now open my computer (or explorer) and goto the files we found earlier!
Those being in: C:\WINDOWS\system32
*** Remember the TIME STAMP ***
Select them and delete them!
Start up msconfig by going to the start button on the desktop ( bottom left) and goto run, in the box that appears, type msconfig and click ok. A window will open, goto the startup tab and untick the program identified as mbs...... ok that and allow the computer to reboot!
You can now delete the icon of the desktop and from the startup menu from the start button.
I hope this has cleared your ploblem and has been of some use!

Why don't they allow you to publish your email address on social networking sites?
Partly so you don't get solicited and mostly because you can give out your e-mail to a bunch of people and never pay their site. It's a way of keeping them self in business and not having a reliability problem.

Is there a site where you can report spam email?
I keep getting those emails where they say you have won a lotto in Europe or someone needs help with a banking issue and things like that. I just wanted to know if there is a site where you can report it and maybe these people can get caught.

If you want to get law enforcement to take any action, then look up the campaigners such as knujon castlecops etc. They can collate complaints from all of us and use that as leverage in the right places.

The simple way around this is to go to Yahoo or MSN and create a second free email account for yourself. Use a different name than your main account. Use this account for all sites that ask you to register and create an account with them. That way if they sell your email address to a spammer, it won't matter. You can just log into that account once a week and empty the bulk folder. Then the only email you get at your real email address will be mail you want to get.

Not sure what you mean...there are some you can and some you can't. If you are on hotmail, yahoo etc...as long as you have login and password you can...but if you are tying something like rr, aol, etc....no.

your computer/protection center ,only blocks mail that contains mail or pictures that may have a virus or something that may harm your computer , otherwise it will deliver to you .......

1) Your online store web site.
2) Your merchant (credit card processing) site (such as paypal, yourpay, linkpoint, ...).
If your website was sending the emails, there are 2 main flavors of servers. Unix/Linux and windows. On Unix/Linux, sendmail is generally used. These types of servers generally know how to send mail as long as the DNS for the server is setup properly. On Windows/IIS/APS.NET types of servers, the mail server has to be setup in the web.config file in the system.net section as shown below.

2) Your current email server (that you get your emails from) has added strict rules to not accept email from a machine that does not match a reverse DNS lookup. For example, your email server rejects emails from anonymous or DHCP assigned email servers. This is done to prevent emails comming from ZOMBIE computers taken over by spammers.
This does not mean that your web server uses a dynamic IP address, it just means that a reverse DNS entry for your machine was not added to the DNS server for your domain. This is more common on Unix/Linux web servers.

Good luck with that. There are so many free sites, it's not likely you'll get anyone to pay for it. About the only thing you could do is to sell advertising.
