Worried-- opened an email on my MacBook that seemed shady, now my email site doesn't work at all on this comp.

..and it works on my roommate's computer. What might this be? How could I fix it? My computer is a Mac. Thank you so much for any help.

oh man... well, i know that Macs rarely if ever get viruses, but run Norton Antivirus or call AppleCare and have them run some tests. Run 'disk utility' and restart, too. Good luck!
Reply:ooooo buggy email sorry dude!
Reply:If it works on another computer than your computer probably got a virus. Try running a scan for ad-ware or spy-ware.
Reply:Since there are no MacOs X viruses, what you probably have is a very large email that is clogging your mail application. I am assuming you are using the Apple Mail program. Just open the Mail program and move the bar in the middle down to the bottom. Then you can delete the offending email without it opening.

There is one MacOs X malware out there, but you have to go to a porn site and agree to download it and install it on your computer.
